Salvation Army - Mutual Respect|
The children in Year 2 visited the Salvation Army to find out about another faith. They found that there were similarities to their own faith but also some differences.
Maasai Culture - Mutual Respect|
The children in Year 2 have been learning about the Maasai culture. They have found that it is very different to their own. They have created Maasai necklaces as the Maasai women wear lots of beads to make them look rich.
Diwali Day - Autumn Term|
We were very lucky to have a special visit from a gentleman called Steve Hopkins (Hindu name - Sakhya), who came to do Diwali workshops with the children. There was opportunities to dress up, play instruments and listen to stories about Rama and Sita. He used characters from various Disney films to portray these Hindu characters.
