Year 6 SATs

Each May, the pupils in Year 6 sit Statutory Assessment Tests (SATs). These are taken by all pupils nationally and the results are then set working from an average pass rate.

This Year, the SATs will take place on the following dates:

Monday 10 May 2027: English grammar, punctuation and spelling (GPS) Papers 1 and 2

Tuesday 11 May 2027: English reading paper

Wednesday 12 May 2027: Mathematics Papers 1 (Arithmetic) and 2 (Reasoning)

Thursday 13 May 2027: Mathematics Paper 3 (Reasoning)

We will be preparing for the SATs in school both in our curriculum classes and after-school booster clubs- which we highly recommend your child attends.

Mrs Nice will be holding SATs meetings during the spring term to discuss your child's progress.
