Tips for staying safe online:

• Follow the SMART rules - Safe. Meeting. Accepting. Reliable. Tell. 

• Make sure you keep new online friends strictly online. If someone you don't know asks to be your online friend you must ensure an adult knows about it.

• Tell your trusted adult if there is anyone or anything bothering you. You can use the Whisper reporting service on our website to report any concerns if you don't feel able to speak to your trusted adult in person.

• Know how to use the CEOP Button and how to report it to the CEOP Centre if you are concerned about someone’s online behaviour towards you.
