Online Safety and Cyber Crime Visit

Children in KS2 were visited by Niall McNicholas, a Cyber Dependent Crime Specialist from the Cyber & Digital Crime Unit. We were lucky to be joined by several parents too. Niall spoke to pupils and parents about online safety and cyber crime. He shared lots of information about cyber crime and its potential consequences. He also gave us some wonderful top tips for staying safe online.

Online Safety Competition

Our PCSO, Colette Harrison, launched our school online safety competition during her visit to talk to the school about staying safe online on Safer Internet Day. Children from Y1 to Y3 were tasked with creating an online safety poster and pupils in Y4 to Y6 were asked to create an information leaflet. Our PCSO came back to judge the competition. She was really impressed with all the entries and the work everyone had put into their entry made it very difficult for her to chose a winner. Congratulations to our winners from who won Amaon vouchers. We hope you enjoy spending them

National Online Safety

I am delighted to announce that we have successfully met all the criteria to achieve the NOS Certified School Community accreditation for the 2022/23 academic year. Congratulations to everyone for helping us to achieve this!

BeeBot Competition

We had a wonderful uptake for our BeeBot competition. Thank you to all the families who completed the challenge and took part in the Online Safety Course provided by National Online Safety. Here are our lucky winners with their new BeeBot to explore with at home.
