Pupil Voice
Our School Council
Our school council represents the views of all of our pupils and has a representative from each class (Reception to Six). The School Council reps put themselves forward for the role at the beginning of the year and are voted in by their peers. They all take pride in wearing their badges and displaying all of the qualities needed to be a fantastic school council member.
Their jobs include organising fundraising for charities and raising money for school projects. The School Council work on improving our school, sharing ideas and helping teachers to create a positive, inviting environment through pupil voices and views.

Captain Tom Moore – 100 Challenge
The School Council organised a fundraiser based on the Captain Tom Moore 100 challenge. Each class was asked to come up with an idea based on 100. The money raised went to the Teenage Cancer Trust.

ECO WARRIORS
The School Council decided that as part of our school mission we need to ensure that we are taking care of God’s world- our common home. They asked that each class nominate some Eco Monitors to make sure that we were knocking lights, computers, ipads and anything else that was using energy off when it was not being used. They are going to be given challenges based on looking at the environment throughout the year.
Sunflower Competition
The School Council decided as part of our work on looking after the world that God created they would organise a sunflower growing competition. This would mean that there would be over 200 more flowers in the world. Children across school were given a pot, sunflower and soil and asked to take them home and plant them outside. The winner of the tallest sunflower in each year group will receive a prize.
