School Vision and Values

Our vision and values, which are rooted in the Gospel values, are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.

We strive to provide a safe, caring and nurturing environment where pupils feel valued and where they are encouraged to do their best. Pupils will be taught to be courteous, caring, self-disciplined, respectful towards others and to have a positive view of themselves.

We believe children are entitled to a broad and balanced curriculum which offers a breadth of experience, standards of excellence and sense of community. We aim to provide an environment where children can grow and develop spiritually, morally, physically and intellectually, achieving high level of personal attainment. This school will provide a challenging, learning school where children are encouraged to do their best and prepare for their future.

We recognise that parents have an important role in the education of their child and encourage parent to be part of their education. We welcome parental involvement and include pupils, staff, parents, governors and the parish in the continuous development and improvement of our school.

We seek to meet the challenge of putting Christ, the embodiment of the presence of the creator God, at the centre of all our understanding and actions because this notion, and our understanding of it, enlightens everything that we do.
