Role of the Educational Psychologist

Sometimes our teachers may need the help, support and advice of an expert. One of these people is the Educational Psychologist.

Our SENCO works closely with the Educational Psychologist to support children in lots of different ways:

Observation and assessment of pupils
Advice given to our teachers to ensure the children's needs are being met
Advice given to parents and carers to support their child at home
Training given to staff
Reports to inform statutory assessments
